Born in Occhiobello (RO) in 1961, he lives and works in
Ferrara as photographer freelance.
Son of an artist, his mother Carolina Marisa Occari was an important painter and engraver, Luca Zampini has lived with the universe of art since he was a child.
He arrived at the optical medium in 2000.
Member of FIAF (Federazione Italiana Associazioni Fotografiche) and FIAP (Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique) since 2009; member and teacher of FotoClub Ferrara, of which he has Vice President since 2015, he has successfully partecipated in national and international competitions, achieving numerous admissions and dozens of awards that have earned him the distinctions AFIAP (Artiste FIAP) in 2014 and EFIAP (Excellence FIAP) in 2016.
Initially attracted to travel photography, he now enthusiastically devotes himself to a more introspective and conceptual exploration in which he can express all his creativity.
In the last 15 years his pictures were shown in many solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Among these are reported: Giallo, noir e perturbante (2014), Occhi di vetro nel labirinto dei giganti (2015), Nel giardino del mago.
