About Her Art

Born in Bari and living in Rome, she began as a self-taught artist; since childhood, drawing and colors have been the tool to enter the portal of imagination and free it completely from banks, constraints, or rules. She has taken only one drawing and painting course in Rome (UPTER 2013/2014). Daniela prefers to paint in oils and has a dense, spontaneous, and impulsive brushstroke.

It has been noted, by a particularly unique observer, that the artist uses several colors in a single brushstroke and therefore her way of painting strongly recalls the Impressionists.

 Update :

Currently CPSI case manager at ASL RM2. Member of the Art Arvalia Onlus Cultural Association since 2014.

Some exhibitions showing her works are listed below.

La Salle Institute (Rm) and INMI (Rm), year 2014

Seraphicum (Rm) 2016 and 2017,

Mitreo (Rm) November 2017, participation in Percorsi d’Arte in Italia 2018, with the following review:

Iconic painting: the artist is endowed with great emotional sensitivity and addresses, with a sure hand, highly topical themes, which she transfigures from realistic images into figurations dense with pathos and feeling; the result of her work is her singular position in the world.

Santa Maria dei Miracoli Gallery (Rm) March–April 2019,

Marconi Library (Rm) 2016 / 2018 / 2019.
