Her Biography
The Artist lives in Rome, where she attended the Libera Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma “Rome University of Fine Arts” and various studios of Master artists, with whom she was able to deepen her study of the human figure and broaden her sensitivity to colour, which would lead her to express herself through a universe of intense colours, yet marked by an expressive delicacy.
At the beginning of her path as a painter, she attended the Romacreat school of Contemporary Art painting in the heart of Rome, directed by Master Oliviero Leonardi. During her period of study with the Master, she painted exclusively in oil on canvas and explored the intensity of line and colour, with its endless tonal variations, which she still expresses in her works today.
Another decisive encounter was with the painter Marta Cilento, a pupil of Master Beppe Assenza, who guided her to experiment with watercolour techniques and to deepen her study of colour through the layering of delicate glazes. It was during this period that the lightness of her chromatic range, between plays of light and shadow, gave life to delicate, nuanced works in many colours, laid on paper and canvas with a harmony that springs from a meditative act.
She deepened her pictorial art not only in Italy, through colour study seminars held by Donald Hall, Director of the Free School of Anthroposophical Painting in Bolzano, but also at the Visual Arts Sections of the Anthroposophical Society in Sweden and Switzerland, where she was able to refine her creative and painterly sensitivity.
She attended the studio of Master Alessandro Trotti and followed his lessons, which enriched her artistic path at a particular moment in her life as an artist, when she needed a further change.
She attended an engraving school and completed training in Art Therapy at Psico&Art in Rome. For years she has also devoted herself to sculpture, which fascinates her as much as painting.
Through her canvases she seeks to give expression to the solitude and melancholy that accompany her in her existential search, but also to the joy and delicate sensitivity in the pursuit of true, authentic beauty that moves all things and nourishes her painting through her bright, luminous colours—an expression of great vitality and freedom from any expressive conditioning. Alongside the many colours, the lines and strokes of marks, skilfully traced with care by the artist, draw on canvas or paper—through broad gestures—moods and deep emotions that belong to each of us. Even the human figure, when represented, is enveloped by the marks and colours laid across the entire surface, to remind us that our human existence is not separate or detached from what surrounds us, but united in order to evolve.
She has taken part in a great many solo and group exhibitions, in Italy and abroad, and has received various awards and recognitions for her path in artistic research.
Works permanently exhibited at Galleria RiBella (Viterbo), Pocket Art (Rome), Galleria Della Tartaruga (Rome).
