Participant in many exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
In 2001, she founded and headed the “Solo” Artists’ Union within the Russian Professional Artists’ Association. Head of the “Solo” Artists’ Union. Adviser to the Head of the Russian Professional Artists’ Association.
In addition to her own artistic and photographic work, Svetlana is also a keen art critic and a successful art manager, as evidenced by exhibitions, concerts, festivals, plein-air events and themed art trips.
In 2008, she was awarded “Deeds for the Good of Nations” by the UN European Committee for Awards and Prizes

Svetlana Solo-Orlova graduated from the Art and Graphics Faculty of the Moscow State Open Pedagogical University named after M.A. Sholokhov in 2001.
She takes part in annual exhibitions in Moscow, the Moscow Region and outside Russia. She is known as an organizer of art exhibitions, ethno-festivals, plein-air events, expeditions and competitions, including international ones.
In January 2001, the “Solo” Group of Artists section of the Professional Artists’ Union was officially registered; its founder and chair is Svetlana Solo. The section has international status and brings together artists from Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Macedonia and Israel.
Author and organizer of art projects: “Slavs in the 21st Century”, the international plein-air “Russo-Turkish War” (2008 and 2014) in Bulgaria, the international children’s art contest-action “A World Without War” (2015), and the annual art project in Zvenigorod “Levitan Seasons”. In 2015, for the “Portrait of a Veteran” project, she received the Moscow Region Governor’s Award.
A member of the Union of Journalists of Russia since 2012. She writes articles about artists and contemporary art. Her paintings are held in the Plyos State Historical, Architectural and Art Museum-Reserve (Russia), in galleries in Bulgaria, Macedonia and Germany, and in private collections.
For her work in the field of culture, in April 2008 in Moscow at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, Svetlana Solo was awarded the Order of “Unity” “Deeds for the Good of Nations” by the United Nations and the European Committee for Awards and Prizes.
