Her Biography

She was born and lives in Corchiano, a small town in the province of Viterbo. She holds a degree in psychology and has worked for years as a psychotherapist. Always drawn to the most varied forms of art and expressive communication, she approached the world of painting only in adulthood, attending a visual arts school for several years and exploring multiple painting techniques, until she found in portraiture the form of expression most akin to her. Firmly convinced of the link between creativity and the psyche, through the faces in her works she seeks not a mere reproduction of reality, but rather that balance or imbalance characteristic of the human being. Aware that art is a subtle representation of the soul, while fascinated by the technical virtuosity of hyperrealism, she pursues a more instinctive stroke that resonates more deeply with her spiritually. She has taken part in numerous group exhibitions. In particular, for three consecutive years at the festival of figurative art and hyperrealism, winning first prize in the “local artists” section.
