About His Art
Chi sono:

I was born in 1966 and grew up in Inderøy in Trøndelag, but moved to Østfold in 2002 and have lived since 2012 in Rygge / Moss, where I have my studio.
Ho una formazione professionale nell’edilizia e nell’ingegneria come tecnico e poi come ingegnere civile, ma col tempo ho capito che non era il mio posto.
L’arte è sempre stata parte di me per tutta la vita e, con il passare degli anni, ha assunto per me un significato sempre più grande. Ho sempre avuto un forte bisogno di esprimermi in modo creativo e ora ho abbracciato pienamente il ruolo di artista visiva e tutto ciò che comporta.
I have a large and varied body of work, from atmospheric figurative images to playful, colorful and abstract ones. I work a lot with surfaces and textures in both my figurative and abstract images. I’m often inspired by nature and the life around me. Prussian blue often echoes in my photos, and my compositions are often built around color choices.
Voglio che tu, come osservatore, trovi i tuoi sogni, le tue visioni e la tua storia nelle immagini. Anche se ho una visione dell’immagine, non voglio influenzare chi guarda.
Lavoro con molte espressioni diverse e sono in continua evoluzione, eppure vedi la mia impronta particolare in ciò che realizzo... il mio suono artistico.

Lo studio è stato l’incontro tra il motivo riconoscibile e l’astrazione del noto. Gli elementi figurativi e astratti sono stati accostati e hanno creato nuove dinamiche e possibilità interpretative. Ciò avviene attraverso diverse tecniche e metodi pittorici per costruire la composizione e la creazione dell’immagine.

techniques I work with:
Dipingo soprattutto con acrilico, ma mi piace mescolare diversi media e tecniche nei miei lavori. Dipingo su tela e su carta. Oltre a dipingere, realizzo anche monotipo / grafica e disegno con matita e inchiostro.
